Sashiko is a traditional type of stitch that was used by workers in rural Japan as a functional way to preserve garments over time. As a technique, it’s synonymous with Japanese culture. Our interpretation is a custom woven technique, meant to re-engineer raw denim with an all-over stitch. This custom jacquard will age in a way that is incredibly unique, with more depth in texture than standard woven denim.
